“Revival” original cushions redirect the style of Khayameya’s traditional compositions. These ornamental works shake up without much pity, the traditionalist and academic style codes issued from traditional tent-making, by drawing directly from a new source of inspiration: the textile market’s stalls in Hussein neighborhood where screaming colors arise on cloth and popular references «in the Egyptian way»
